Who We Are

Common Sense STL is a 501(c)(4) educational, non-partisan organization whose mission is to increase voter participation in both Primary and General elections through informational and educational efforts and to inform citizens about the issues, policies and actions of their local governments in the Greater St. Louis community.

We believe:

Too many citizens consider their electoral choices to be between the “lesser of two evils.”
Citizen discontent with government and elections has eroded public trust in the institutions of government.
More citizen involvement in elections will improve the quality of local government.
Elected officials should be accountable to the entire community, not merely a small sliver of the electorate.
